AI Content Disclosure

Last updated: October 25, 2026

We believe readers should know how our stories are made. This page explains how Amazing News Media uses artificial intelligence (AI) tools.

How we use AI

  • Finding and organizing source material on a news event.
  • Summarizing long documents, such as reports, filings and statements.
  • Producing first drafts that an editor then rewrites and checks.
  • Checking spelling, grammar and readability.

Human editorial review

A human editor reviews every story before publication. The editor checks each fact, figure, name and quote against the cited sources, edits for fairness and clarity, and decides whether the story is published. Editors are responsible for everything we publish.

What we do not use AI for

  • AI is not treated as a source. Facts must come from cited, credible sources.
  • AI is not used to invent quotes, people, events, data or sources in our stories.
  • AI does not decide what we publish.
  • AI is not used to create article images or photos of the people and events we cover. Our article images are licensed photographs, credited to the photographer, source and license.

Editorial responsibility

Our Editor-in-Chief, Grant Whitfield, is responsible for every story we publish, whether or not AI tools helped with research or drafting. Stories carry his byline as the editor accountable for them.

Errors

If you find an error in any story, AI-assisted or not, please tell us at corrections@amazingnewsmedia.com. See our Corrections Policy.
